Marion Barr, 'do crafts' member set 21 girls at 1st Bantaskine Guides in Falkirk a challenge for the 'Create a Card for Cancer Care' Campaign.

Inspirational Stories

Have you read the inspirational stories that have come from the Marie Curie Cancer Care Nurses?

I found these a real eye opener and until l started working on this campaign l never really fully understood the work that they do.

“I just totally believe that at the end of someone’s life they should be given the best, to be in their own surroundings, surrounded by their family and given care and understanding… its about giving people dignity and choice.”

Wendy Turner Backs Campaign!

TV presenter Wendy Turner is lending her support to the ‘Create a Card for Cancer Care’ campaign.

Marie Curie Nurses care for terminally ill people in their own homes, where they can be with the people they love the most. My home and family are so very important to me, which is why I am supporting the vital and wonderful work that Marie Curie Nurses do.

Why not take part in the ‘Create a Card for Cancer Care’ campaign, and spend some time making a card to help terminally ill people live their final days with dignity at home?”
